Hello everyone!
First of all I must ask you to apologize me. I promised to lay out the photoshop tutorial how to use overlays in your digital scrapbooking designs yesturday. But yesterday I had a problem with the Internet. That is why I do it today.
My calendar shows me that  spring is come, but snowflakes are still here at my window. This means that the tutorial with frozen overlays still relevant.
This is my first experience do not be strict to me. Let's start:

1. Open your photoshop program and selectFile, New

Width and Height 3600px, Resolution 300px/inch, Color mode RGB Color 8 bit, Background contests transparent.

2. Select your colors as I did here

I chose the light blue and light green. You can choose any colors you want and select gradient tool (linear gradient).

Apply the gradient tool to your document and you will get something like this:

4. Now choose any frozen overlay you have and open it in photoshop. I chose the overlay from "Frozen glass" (1).

Move this overlay to your document as a layer:

Also you can play with opacity and blending. I chose opacity 88% and blending mode as Color Burn. My next step was to copy this layer:

I thought to stop on this variant... but decided to add one more layer. You also can choose any overlay and put it to your future background paper.

Play again with opacity and blending mode:

Forgive me for the bad explanation. My English is not very good, but I tried that my knowledge was understandable for you all. I hope you understand everything with pictures without words.

Oh, yes. You can save $10 if you buy all parts of "Frozen glass" commercial use overlays.

Thank you for these wonderful freebies. And your English is just great. Considering I can’t speak any foreign language, I am impressed.
